From the Pastor - November 2009

It so happens that All Saints’ Day (November 1) is actually on a Sunday this year!  As it is also a communion service, my message that day will be “the Communion of the Saints.”

For those of you who might not know, All Saints’ Day is the day we honor all of God’s Saints.  Since in United Methodism, and most other Protestant denominations, a saint is anyone who follows Jesus, that means we honor everyone.  Specifically, we remember those who have died.

As we have in years past, we will include a list of those anyone wishes to remember in our bulletin.  If you would like someone included, send the office their name via email: fcum02155@yahoo.com), regular letter, (55 Otis St. Medford, MA 02155), or simply call the office (781-396-5436).  Please note that we must receive the name(s) by October 30.   Thank you.
