From the Pastor

Last month I mentioned that I would be taking "release time" during the months of July and August. At that time, I mentioned that not all the details had yet been worked out. I am glad to report that some significant progress has been made. 

During the month of July, the Rev. Ruth Oduor of Good Shepherd UMC in Malden will be on call. Her office number is 781-321-2490, and her home number is 781-322-7308. In August, The Rev. Eric Dupee of Crawford Memorial UMC in Winchester is on call. His office number is 781-729-5056, and his home is 781-729-0139.

On page two you will find the list of preachers for each Sunday. I am grateful to all of these people for their willingness to “fill in.”

I continue to be grateful to the members of the Staff Parish Relations Committee for their understanding and flexibility in all of this, and to Luci Rexroad for her willingness to help pull things together so that we have bulletins each week, helping to organize the September newsletter, and so on.
