     April is finally here!  Even though our winter wasn’t bad from a weather perspective, most folks seem sick of it.  When the first crocuses appeared, people couldn’t wait to tell others that they had bloomed.  A few were counting the days until spring training began.

     This April is special, not just because it is spring (as important as that may be), but also because it begins with Easter.  April fourth is Easter Sunday.  Easter is a reminder that death and destruction do not have the final say; good does triumph.  Our Easter celebration will be at 10:30am on April 4.  I hope we’ll all come out and celebrate the power of the resurrection.

     Our Easter commemoration continues the following Wednesday.  On Page two, you will find information about our midweek study that begins April 7.  For the month of April and May, our church will embark on a unique spiritual pilgrimage, a way for each of us to see God with greater clarity and see each other through new eyes. 

      As we work through The 3 Colors of Your Spirituality, we will identify our personal “antenna” to God, and grow towards radical balance in our spiritual lives.

     This is a tremendous growth opportunity, one that can help each of us to understand the principles of spiritual growth, apply those principles to our life, and help others do the same.   I hope that you will take advantage of this growth opportunity.
